Job Duties
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment (Fertilizer applicator, Harvesters, Seed drill, Sprayer or duster, Tractor, Combine harvester, Farm truck, Forage equipment, Haying equipment, Planting equipment, Swather, Hand tools)
- Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
- Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, harvest crops
- Handling chickens, Monitoring chicken health, Perform livestock feeding, Feed and tend chickens
- Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
- Select livestock for sale
- Clean barns, barnyards and pens
- Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- Maintain quality control and production records, Maintain work records and logs
- Perform general farm duties
