THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking Material Handlers for all shifts. The position is responsible for manually inserting flyer packages into the pockets of an automated inserting machine in order to prepare newspapers for distribution.
The pay rate is $15.00 per hour + $0.75 night shift premium
Shift Times:
Day Shift
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (Thursday call in), Friday
7:00am -3:00pm
Afternoon Shift
Monday, Tuesday, (Wednesday call in), Thursday
3:00pm-11:00pm
Friday
3:00pm-8:00pm
Night Shift
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, (Wednesday call in), Thursday
11:00pm-7:00am
Weekend Shift
Saturday and Sunday
8:00am-8:00pm

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Open bundles of flyer parcels and insert flyers into sorting machine.
Clean up and overflow of flyers if machine gets jammed.
Ensure correct versions of flyers are used for insertion.
