Early Childhood Educator Assistant
Galaxy Daycare Centre, located at 8187 Woodlake Court, Burnaby, BC V5A 3P3, is seeking to hire an Early Childhood Educator Assistant. This is a full-time, year-round work
Duties:
• Assist early childhood educators in different programs that promote both physical and mental development of children
• Arrange different activities for children, such as telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
• Arrange/serve snacks and keep the lunchroom ready before having lunch. Assist with proper eating and dressing habits.
• Discuss children’s progress and challenges during staff meetings.
• Order, supply and maintain childcare equipment
• Help the early childhood educators keep records
• Perform other related duties as required
Wages: $ 24.00/hr for 40 hrs a week
Location of work: Burnaby, BC

Skills requirement:
• Completion of Secondary Education is required.
• An early childhood education assistant certificate program will be an asset.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in childcare is required.
• Good command of English, both written and oral
