    Work Experience: from 1 to 2 years of experience A minimum of one year of previous experience applying stucco coatings to residential or commercial  structures is mandatory.

This position contributes to Olimpia Construction Ltd. by being responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient application of stucco materials in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and company standards. The Stucco Plasterer ensures that all work meets required quality standards, project timelines, and safety regulations while maintaining and properly using tools and equipment. Workers are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner when interacting with supervisors, co-workers, clients, and other trades at all times. Worker reports to Immediate Supervisor(s).

Qualifications:

•          A combination of training and I or experience to fulfil the responsibilities of this position

•          Completion of secondary education program

•          A minimum of one or more years of previous experience applying stucco coatings to residential or commercial structures is mandatory.

•          Knowledge of materials, methods, tools, equipment involved in the application of coats of plaster or stucco.

•          Demonstrated ability to design and apply high end architectural appealing European classic designs using plaster and / or stucco

•          Must be willing to work outdoors during times of hot and cold weather conditions

•          Capable of working on a scaffold to heights of 30 meters

•          Able to safely perform duties with a minimum amount of supervision

•          Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 kg

Responsibilities:

•          Assist in erecting scaffolding and ladders for application of materials to structures above ground level

•          Clean and prepare surfaces for application of plaster and cement stucco.

•          Install specified insulation to exterior surfaces according to blueprint specifications

•          Install guide wires to indicate thickness of materials to be used and nail wire mesh, lath, and brick ties to hold materials in place.

•          Mix mortar and plaster to desired consistency or direct others to perform mixing

•          Install foam, reinforcement mesh, base coat and acrylic to surfaces and or structures as specified

•          Apply coatings of plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings using trowels, brushes, or spray guns

•          Wear and use approved safety equipment required by the specific task

•          Clean and maintain all hand and power tools used for various projects

•          Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s}
