Fish Processing Plant Labourer

Job Title: Fish Processing Plant Labourer:(NOC: 9618)

Employer: Duguay Fish Packers Ltd.

Location:  1062 Chemin Bas Cap-Pele Cap-Pele NB E4N 1L4

Wage: 15/hr for 30-45 hrs per week

Vacancy:  1 vacancy

Terms of employment: Term or contract- 6 months / full time

Start Date: as soon as possible

Job Requirements:

Languages

• English or French

Education

• No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience

• No experience

Duties:

·       Transport fish and shellfish to work area

·       Clean machines and immediate work areas

·       Unload fish and shellfish from fishing vessels and transport them by hand or forklift truck to work area

·       Weigh fish or shellfish, record weight and pack fish in ice

·       Sort fish according to species, weight and destination

·       Inspect, grade, scale and pack fish

·       Maintain clean working environment

·       Work as part of a team and independently

·       Comply with Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards

Work Conditions

·       Repetitive tasks,Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods of times bending, crouching, kneeling
