Shamaila Shamaila, private household, Stoney Creek, ON, L8J 0M4. We are looking for a reliable person to care for our minor daughter, 4, and son, 11, in the setting of our home.

The caregiver would:
Supervise and care for our children in the setting of our home; Assist and supervise them with dressing, manners and healthy eating habits, instruct them in personal hygiene and social development; Prepare and serve nutritious meals and prepare him for rest periods; Keep records of daily activities and tend to emotional well-being; Help our children with homework.

Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Discipline our children according to the methods requested by the parents; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Travel with us on trips and assist with children supervision and housekeeping duties; and assume full responsibility for the household in absence of parents. The caregiver needs to be able to lift up to up to 9 kg (20 lbs).

This is a smoke and scent free environment, and we are looking for a person with initiative, who is organized, would have safe judgement, be flexible, reliable and a team player. Preference would be given to a person with high school education; experience an asset. References are mandatory.

This is a full-time, permanent position with salary of $15.00 per hour with 35 hours per week work. The caregiver would work Mondays – Tuesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 5:50 p.m., and Wednesdays – Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Overtime or occasional weekends may be required.
