Job Title: Welder (NOC: 7237)

Location: 158 Toombs ST. Moncton, NB E1A 3A5

Wage: 21.01/hr for 40 hrs per week

Job Requirements:

Languages

• English or French

Education

• Completion of Secondary Education
• Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience

Experience

• 2 years to less than 3 years working as a welder or related field

Duties:

·       Welds small, medium and large bore pipe of various metals and alloys

·       Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned

·       Lay out and installs piping, equipment and other mechanical systems in compliance with constructions drawings and specifications.

·       Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures

·       Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.

·       Setting up components for welding according to specifications

·       Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the workplace.

·       Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Attention to detail, Sitting or standing for extended periods of times Handling of heavy loads, bending, kneeling
