Job Duties:
🍳 Prepare and plate menu items with care, consistency, and a focus on great resort-style presentation.
🥕 Work with fresh ingredients and help bring vibrant, seasonal flavours to every shift.
🔥 Operate grills, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
🧼 Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for smooth service from start to finish.
⏱️ Coordinate with the kitchen team to keep service moving and meals going out on time.
📋 Follow recipes, portioning standards, and food safety procedures every day.
🤝 Support fellow cooks and kitchen staff during busy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and event service.
✨ Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to a fun, energetic culinary team that takes pride in what it serves.
👀 Other duties that apply when required.
Job Requirements:
⏳ At least 3 year of previous cooking or line cook experience is required, ideally in a hotel, resort, or busy restaurant kitchen.
🍽️ Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen timing.
🚦 Good knowledge of safe food handling practices and workplace safety.
💪 Ability to stand for long periods, lift kitchen supplies, and work in a fast-paced environment.
👀 Attention to detail when it comes to taste, presentation, cleanliness, and consistency.
🤝 A team-first attitude with strong communication skills and a positive, professional approach.
🌞 Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
