Description
Gogo Sushi restaurant is located at 504-11850 Oceola Rd., Lake Country, BC V4V 2T5. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Cook (Sushi Cook). If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail or mail.
Position: Cook (Sushi Cook)
Wages: CAD$20.00-29.00/hour (depending on skills and experience)
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evening, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30-40 hours/week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook Japanese sushi food items (Sashimi, Sushi, Maki, Roll, etc.) in cooperation with the rest of the staff;
• Maintain inventory and records of food;
• Oversee kitchen operation;
• Train kitchen staff.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience required.
• Skills demonstration may be required.
