DRYWALL FINISHER

9934537 Canada Corp. is looking for a Drywall Finisher to help us. Are you a friendly and excellent communicator? Do you love to work in a team and with your hands? Starting Date: As Soon as Possible

Job Title: Drywall Finisher

Hours and Wages: 35.97/hour, 30-40 hours/week

Duties

·         Prepare drywall sheets for installation

·         Measure, cut, and install drywall.

·         Secure to studs and beams using appropriate tools.

·         Ensure there are no gaps in drywall by filling gaps

·         Seal drywall using compounds and machines

·         Apply coats of drywall and ensure a smooth surface by sanding uneven areas.

·         Prepare and install ceiling grids to create ceilings

·         Apply plaster material to walls and ceilings

·         Work in teams, individually, and with supervisor

·         Be courteous and friendly to clients, ensuring excellent customer service.

Requirements

·         2-3 years of experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar position.

·         Ability to lift, push, pull, and handle material of up to 50kg

·         Ability to work on tight deadlines in a busy environment

·         Ability to work in a team and individually while staying on task

·         English is a requirement

·         Valid drivers license as you will be driving vehicles to various job sites
