Location: 40120 RGE RD 283, Lacombe, AB, T4M 0X7

Salary: $18.34 hourly / 44 to 55 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Early morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime available

Starts as soon as possible

Vacancies: 2 vacancies

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Experience an asset

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: At heights, Wet/damp, Hot

Work setting: Rural area, Public transportation is not available
Type of product: Hydroponic horticultural products, Vegetables
Type of crops: Cucumbers, Greenhouse tomatoes, Greenhouse vegetables, Herbs, Tomatoes

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Attention to detail

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Personal suitability: Reliability, Team player

Job Duties

·         Clean the crops

·         Deleaf agricultural crops to accelerate ripening

·         Greenhouse cleaning

·         Hand harvesting vegetables

·         Tie and secure plants

·         Clean work area
