Salary: $20.00 hourly / 40 to 50 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Early morning, Evening, Day, weekend

Starts as soon as possible

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: 1 year to less than 7 months

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Dairy, other grain farming

Work setting: Rural area, remote location

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks

Job Duties

·         Monitor calving process

·         Monitor animal health

·         Monitor breeding program and perform artificial insemination

·         Perform livestock feeding

·         Harvest crops

·         Feed and tend animals

·         Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

·         Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed

·         Formulate feed rations according to nutritional requirements

·         Assist with births

·         Maintain quality control and production records

·         Milk cows

.         Perform general farm duties
