Location:  Fort McMurray

Wage:  $15/hr

Permanent, Full Time 44hours/week

Start Date: June 20, 2019

Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Weekend

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) School Graduation Certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Security and Safety: Drug Test; child abuse registry check; criminal record check; childwelfare check, reference required

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation available

Work Conditions and Physucak Capabilities: Repetitive tasks; work under pressure

Work Locaiton Information: Urban area; work in employer's home, room and baord provided, willing to relocate

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking

Personal Suitability: Intiative, organized, flexibility, reliability,team player, effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication

Additional Skills: Assume full responsiblity for household in absence of parents; perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; shop for food and household supplies; travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties; was,  iron and press clothing and household linens; care for pet

Childrens' Ages: 6-12 years

Specific Skills:  Bathe, dress, and feed children; discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents; prepare children for rest periods; keep records of daily acitvities and health information regarding children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; tend to emotional well-being of children; instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; orginize activities such as games and outings for children; preapre and serve nutritious meals; supervise and care for children; help with children's homework.

Target Audience:  Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Work Setting:  Employer's Home – Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.  Note:  this is NOT a condition of employment.
