Location: HWY 764 TWP 304/NE-21-30-07-W3 Outlook, SK S0L 2N0

Salary: $20.00 hourly / 40- 50 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Day, Weekend, Overtime required, Overtime available

Starts as soon as possible

Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck, Forklift, Loader, Tractor, Vegetable harvester, Combine harvester, Fertilizer applicator, Planting equipment, Seed drill, Sprayer or duster, Swather, Tillage equipment, Welding, Skidsteer, Hand tools

Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available; Valid driver’s license

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Large workload, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Job Duties

• Apply fertilizers,
• Clear fields of wood and stones, Clean the crops
• Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.
• Pack fruits and vegetables
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Write daily basic progress reports
• Clean work area
• Fertilize and spray crops, Harvest crops
• Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
• Perform general farm duties
• Operate climate controls
