Job Description

One-full-time position.  Work Saturday to Tuesday from 8AM – 4:30 PM, Wednesday from 8 AM to noon, and Friday from 5 PM – 9 PM for 40 hours a week.  Duties include: administering medications, assisting the recipient of care with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, assisting with regular exercises like walking, laundering and mending clothing and linens, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, providing companionship and personal care, preparing and serving nutritious meals.

Education Level

Seconday (high) high school diploma or equivalent experience.

Required Skills

Ability to bend, crouch and kneel, requires stitting, standing for long periods and walking, ability to handle weight of up to 100 Kgs (220 lbs), physically demanding, repetitive taskes, and the ability to work under pressure.

Additional Skills/Assets

Non-smoking and scent sensitive working environment. Immunizaton, vulnerability and criminality checks required.  Must be punctual, have a client focus, be dependable, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Must be flexible, able to show initiative, judgemenet, reliability, patience, honesty and good organizational skills.
