Education: Completion of bachelor’s degree.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related field
We are looking for someone who can grow our business to the next level. Our restaurant is a reputable dining establishment in Kamloops, BC. We cater to Ramada Hotel guests, tourist, and locals with far and wide. We are looking for someone to join our team as a Business Development Officer to help us expand to other markets. Your role will be to:
- Develop policies to promote the business locally, nationally, and internationally.
- Design market research questionnaires to see what potential customers and existing customers are looking for.
- Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to attract new customers.
- Evaluate customer service of existing customers.
- Conduct research on consumers, competitors, and the market to identify trends to optimize marketing strategies to put our business on the map of a must-go-to place.
- Prepare reports to management on business development opportunities including catering services, hotel guest services, and regular services.
- Provide consultation on planning and starting of new business prospects.
- Develop marketing strategies to attract new customers.
- Develop and implement business plans.
