Design Built Project Coordinator



Rain City Industrial is a growing leader in the industrial construction sector. We specialize in design-build projects and are currently seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of our construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to grow their career in a dynamic and hands-on environment.



Duties and responsibilities:



Project Coordination & Documentation

• Assist in preparing, distributing, and tracking project documents (contracts, drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders).

• Maintain up-to-date project records and ensure document control.

• Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, record/distribute minutes, and track action items.

• Monitor project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.

• Support procurement by gathering quotes and issuing purchase orders.

Sales & Business Development Exposure

• Gain experience working with the business development team to understand the sales process for design-build projects.

• Support early-stage project intake, including preliminary design, budgeting, and scheduling.

• Assist in developing project proposals and supporting materials for client presentations.

Client Experience & Communication

• Ensure a seamless client experience by maintaining strong communication and responsiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

• Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive timely updates and clear project expectations.

• Leverage Rain City Industrial’s construction management software and processes to provide real-time project visibility and coordination.

• Gather and relay client feedback to enhance project execution and customer satisfaction.

Financial & Budgeting Support

• Assist in tracking project budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting.

• Support change order pricing, progress billing, and cost analysis.

• Work with subcontractors and vendors to collect invoices and facilitate timely payments.

Construction & Site Coordination – Hands-On Training

• Work alongside project managers and site supervisors to gain direct experience in industrial construction processes.

• Support coordination of site logistics, including access, material deliveries, and subcontractor scheduling.

• Observe and participate in quality control, safety procedures, and compliance tracking.

• Gain first-hand experience in construction execution, problem-solving, and site management strategies.

General Administrative Support

• Organize and maintain project files, emails, and records in accordance with company policies.

• Prepare reports, presentations, and project summaries as required.

• Perform additional duties as needed to support project success



Requirement:

– The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, or any relevant field, or a college diploma in construction technology.

– The candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in a supervisory or managerial role.

– Familiarity with construction documentation, budgeting, and scheduling is required.

– Experience with construction management software is essential.

– Candidates must possess excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.



Wage $52/hour for 32 hours per week
