Job Summary:
301Nelson Fuel Inc. is looking for a reliable and motivated Retail Store Supervisor to support daily operations at our busy fuel and convenience store in Nelson, BC. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a customer‑focused environment and are ready to take on leadership responsibilities. The supervisor will oversee staff, maintain inventory, ensure excellent customer service, and uphold store standards.

Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of sales associates and cashiers to ensure efficient store operations.
· Assign tasks to sales staff, prepare weekly work schedules, and adjust staffing levels based on business needs.
· Authorize payments, refunds, exchanges, and other transactions in accordance with company policies.
· Resolve customer concerns, special requests, escalated complaints, and issues related to product availability or supply shortages.
· Monitor inventory levels, maintain stock accuracy, and place merchandise orders to prevent shortages.
· Oversee receiving, stocking, and rotation of products to ensure availability, accuracy, and compliance with store standards.
· Prepare and maintain reports related to sales volumes, inventory, merchandising activities, and personnel performance.
· Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new sales staff; monitor performance and provide coaching and feedback.
· Ensure store visual standards are consistently maintained, including product displays, signage, cleanliness, and overall presentation.
· Perform the same duties as sales staff when required to support operations during peak hours or staff shortages.
· Carry out key‑holding responsibilities such as opening and closing the store, securing cash deposits, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
· Manage escalated customer issues, coordinate with suppliers, sign for deliveries, and verify shipment accuracy.
· Assist in developing and implementing store‑level marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.

Requirements:
Proficiency in English
