One Full-Time Term/Contract Position
$18.65/hr for 40 hrs/wk
Morning and day from 0800 to 4::30 Monday – Friday
Required as soon as possible.
Job Description
Administers medications, launders clothing and household linens, assists with regular exercise (e.g. walking). Provides personal care and companionshipship. Performs light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Assists client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Prepares and serves nutritious meals. Non-smoking and scent-sensitive environment. Public transportation available. This is a live-in position. Must work in the employer's home in an urban area.
Required Langues: English
Education Level: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Required Skills: Three to less than 5 years of related experience. Must be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs.) . Must be punctual, organized, possess effective interpersonal skills, dependable, flexible, displays initiatiive, excellent oral communication skills, judgement, and reliabillity with a client focus.
Additional Skills/Assets: The position requires bending, kneeling, a combination of sitting, standing, walking, physically demanding work with repetitive tasks. Immunization record, criminal and vulnerabale sectors checks, and references required.
