Personal Support Worker-Home Support

Job Title: Personal Support Worker-Home Support (NOC 4412)

Employer: Alms Private Household

Location:  Vancouver, BC V6G 1X8

Wage: $ 20 /hr 40 hours per week

Vacancy:  1 vacancy

Terms of employment: full time/contract

Start Date: as soon as possible

Job Requirements:

Languages

• English

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience

• At least 1 year to less than 2 years.

Duties:

·       Provide personal care

·       Assist client with bathing and maintaining personal hygiene

·       Provide companionship

·       Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

·       Assist in feeding or feed

·       Administer bedside care

·       Provide a safety environment to the client

·       Provide reminders for medication or administer it if needed

·       Accompany client to doctor’s appointments
