Position:             Warehouse Manager – NOC (70012)
Employer:           Viamar Scilla Transport International Inc.
Location:            4000 Steeles Ave. West, Unit #9 Vaughan On L4L 4V9 Canada
Location of employment:  86 Courtice Court Courtice Ontario L1E 2T3 Canada
Wages:                $46 per hour, 30-44 hours a week
Shifts:                  Weekdays/Weekends

Viamar Scilla Transport International Inc. is a reputable and established international

transportation company servicing the globe for many decades.

We are looking to hire a Warehouse Manager to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the

operations of one of our Warehouse facilities, located in Courtice Ontario.

This would be a great opportunity for someone with experience to join a reputable and

established company.
 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of our Courtice warehousing facility.
  • Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects to modify our facility in Courtice.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of warehouse infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Plan and manage the facility's operations budget.
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility.
  • Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff.
  • Must be able to attend monthly meetings at Head Office location at 4000 Steeles Ave West unit # 9 Vaughan Ontario L4L4V9 

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

·      Completion of a college or university program in business administration or in a discipline related to facility operation OR an equivalent combination of technical training and at least 2 years’ experience in administration or related field, is required
·      Valid Driver's license and Forklift license and general knowledge to operate heavy equipment would be an asset
·      Must be well organized and punctual
·      Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
