Home Support Worker
The Deo Family is looking for a Home Support Worker to work at their residence. The Home Support Worker will have a completion of Secondary School, and at least 6 months of formal training or equivalent experience in a caregiving-related field, and the ability to communicate in English.
The responsibilities of the job are:
– Provide companionship and personal care to elderly individuals in their home, following the guidance of family members.
– Assist with regular exercise routines.
– Shop for food and household supplies necessary for the elderly persons.
– Prepare and serve nutritious meals and manage medications as prescribed by the doctor, under the supervision of family members.
– Assist with personal hygiene.
– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks related to elderly individuals.
– Carry out any other related duties as required.
Wages: $24.50 /hr for 40 hours per week.
Work setting: Private home located close to 165A Street, Surrey, BC V4N 0H5
