We are currently looking for a full-time Food Service Supervisor. The ideal candidate will excel as team player and will work well under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Main duties
- Oversees the daily food service steps (greeting, taking orders, packing orders, handling payments)
- Handle shift schedules for food service workers and assign them tasks on daily basis
- Coordinate frequent workplace inspections
- Plan menus and determine related food and labour costs
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of worker
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Participates in menu preparation, ensuring menus are updated and recipes are revised
- Ensuring all equipment is clean and maintained
- Communicate positively and enthusiastically to the restaurant patrons and address their issues promptly
Employment Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- Flexible availability for weekends & holidays
- Food safe level 1
- 2-3 years of experience in food preparation/customer service is required
