We are looking for an experienced Sous-chef for INK Entertainment Group for the various locations in Toronto. Our corporate office is located at 144 Bloor Street West, 7th Floor Toronto, ON M5S 1M4 Canada. You may be required to work at other locations in the Toronto region.

JOB DUTIES:

Lead daily kitchen operations in collaboration with culinary and service teams, ensuring precision, pace, and consistency throughout service.

Inspire, train, and mentor kitchen staff to deliver dishes that exceed INK Entertainment’s creative and quality benchmarks.

Execute premium menu items with refined technique, balancing flavor innovation and artistic presentation that elevate INK’s culinary standards.

Partner in menu development, seasonal features, and event-driven concepts that reflect current culinary movements and guest expectations.

Foster a culture of excellence, driving the team to perform under pressure with confidence, professionalism, and passion.

Oversee quality assurance by tasting, evaluating, and approving all dishes prior to service and events.

Manage procurement, inventory, and vendor relations to maintain premium ingredient sourcing and cost efficiency.

Enforce the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization at all times.

Lead the execution of large-scale events, private dining experiences, and high-profile activations with creativity and precision.

Coordinate staff schedules, workflow, and performance to sustain a balanced, motivated, and high-performing brigade.

Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless kitchen-to-table operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Embody INK’s culinary identity; bold, contemporary, and guest-focused through leadership, innovation, and consistency in every plate served.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in Hospitality.
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $36.00 to $38.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
