We are looking for a Home Child Care Provider (Nanny) who can take care of our two kids (6 years old daughter and about 5 years old son) at our home in Surrey BC

Position: one
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $ 15.00/ hour for 40 hours/ week
Minimum Education: High School
Experience & Requirements: 1 year to less than 2 years
Job Timing: Morning: 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and
Afternoon/Evening: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Language: English
Start Date: As soon as possible
Children’s Ages: 6-year-old daughter and about 5-year-old son
Specific Skills:
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home;
• Prepare the children for rest periods;
• Take children to and from school and to appointments;
• Bathe, dress and feed the children;
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents;
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children;
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children;
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals;
• Supervise and care for children;
• Tend to emotional well-being of children;
• Help children with homework;
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Personal Suitability: Initiative, Organized, Judgement, Flexibility, Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills, Client focus, excellent written communication, excellent oral communication
Additional Skills: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available
Work Location Information/ Work Setting: Employer’s home in Surrey BC
Optional accommodation is available at employer’s home at no charge on a live-in basis.

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Work Site Environment: Scent-free, Non-smoking
Security and Safety: Medical exam, Child abuse registry check, Criminal record check, Reference required
