Experience: 4 years experience preparing ethnic Indian cuisine

 

Specific Skills: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes with emphasis on ethnic Indian meals such as Indian curry, Tandoori bread, Tandoori appetizers, meat, eggs and seafood

Fulfill orders in a timely manner while adhering to best practices and careful preparation of food items; Notify wait staff when orders are complete; Remain knowledgeable about the restaurant menu and make accommodations on individual orders as requested by guests; Work alongside other team members to ensure streamlined service and a commitment to work together to achieve company goals; Ensure that food area is stocked and organized; alert manager of any inventory deficiencies, and keep inventory records;  Inspect kitchen and food service areas making sure kitchen and work areas are clean at all times; assist in training new employees; perform opening and closing procedures for restaurant as instructed by owner.

Salary:17.00 per hour
