Automotive Service Technician

 

We are looking for a well experienced Automotive Service Technician for “Richmond Hill Hyundai” located at 11188 Yonge Street Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1K9, Canada.

 

 No. of Position: 02

 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect vehicles in operation, conduct road tests, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.

  • Diagnose, adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and components of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, fuel systems, and electrical systems.

  • Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications.

  • Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil and filter changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements according to manufacturer maintenance schedules.

  • Estimate parts and labour requirements for repair and maintenance work.

  • Review work orders and discuss repair procedures with the service supervisor or service advisor.

  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

  • Provide technical guidance and instruction to apprentice technicians.

  • Advise customers on work performed and recommend future repair or maintenance requirements while ensuring high standards of customer service.

 

Prerequisites:

  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience

  • Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification

  • Experience & Skills: 3 years to less than 5 years

  • Language: English

  • Hourly Rate: $36.00 to $ 40.00 per Hour for 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
