About Athiana Acres

Athiana Acres is a 30-acre Certified Organic and regenerative farm located on the ancestral territory of the Musqueam people in Richmond, BC. We grow over 150 varieties of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers using practices that restore the soil and foster biodiversity. More than just a farm, we are a hub for education, sustainability, and community engagement.

We are currently hiring 4 dedicated and hardworking farm labourers to join our team for the upcoming season. The ideal candidates will assist with a variety of general farm duties including planting, harvesting, and packing produce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and irrigate soil for planting
• Plant, fertilize, and thin crops to support healthy growth
• Harvest fruits and vegetables by hand
• Sort, weigh, and pack produce for shipment or sale
• Load and unload produce and supplies
• Clean and maintain tools, bins, trays, and work areas
• Assist with basic maintenance of farm equipment
• Complete basic documentation or daily harvest records as required

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• No formal education or previous experience required (training provided)
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
