Position: Assistant Cook
Number of job vacancies: 1
Working Hours: 40hr/week, 5days a week
Work Shift: It can be daytime, evening, weekends and/or holidays
Wage: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
Benefits: 4% of vacation fee from gross salary

Kim’s Mart is one of primary Asian markets in Vancouver region and it includes Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food items. The quality on produce is good and also prices are fair. We are looking for an Assistant Cook to join our team.
Main duties
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
• Participate in the preparation of meals in the kitchen
• Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
• Ensure use of proper food handling techniques
• Assist in receiving and storing incoming food and supplies
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Prepare, season and cook food all food items as directed in timely manner
• Complete required tasks within assigned time frames
• Assist other cooks
• Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Employment Requirements
• Completion of high school
• Minimum 1~2 years of cook experience
• English is required
• Be able to work under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
