Looking for 2 full-time, permanent Italian Cuisine Chefs for our Oak Bay restaurant. $23.00 per hour, 40 hours work per week Job requirements Languages: English Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: 3 years experience in Italian cuisine Specific Skills Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies, Inspect kitchens and food service areas, Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, Clean kitchen and work areas, Organize and manage buffets and banquets, Manage kitchen operations Additional Skills Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory, Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances Work Location: 200 Golf Course Rd Port Severn, Ontario L0K 1S0
