Molinaro's Fine Italian Foods Ltd. has an opening for Lead Welder (NOC 72106) position located at 50-2345 Stanfield Road, Mississauga, ON L4Y 3Y3. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and safety-conscious professional with strong welding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate work activities. The successful candidate will contribute to efficient operations while ensuring that all work meets applicable safety standards and quality requirements.
As a Lead Welder you will perform some or all of the following duties –
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
- Plan repair work to be performed
- Fit and weld parts together
- Perform scheduled maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
- Ensure safety procedures are followed
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
- Operate machines and equipment
- Installing machinery and equipment
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Assemble and fit metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Weld or braze components
- Develop procedures to clean up contaminated sites
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Welding techniques Brazing and soldering, TIG, MIG
Equipment and machinery experience: Brazing machine, Welding equipment, Drill presses
