Job Title: Housekeeping Manager
NOC: 62021 – Executive Housekeepers
Location: Cold Lake, Alberta
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Employment: Full-time, Permanent
 
Main Duties
 
* Plan, organize and direct the operations of the housekeeping department.
* Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping and cleaning staff.
* Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures for housekeeping staff.
* Coordinate inspection of assigned areas to ensure that established cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
* Recommend or arrange for additional services required for the maintenance of hotel facilities.
* Assist in the selection, hiring and training of housekeeping staff.
* Prepare work schedules and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff.
* Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, linens and other housekeeping materials.
* Inspect rooms and other areas to ensure that cleaning and maintenance standards are met.
* Monitor the quality of work performed by housekeeping employees and provide direction where required.
* Address guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping services.
* Ensure that health, safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
* Perform other related duties as required.
 
Employment Requirements
 
* Completion of secondary school is required.
* Previous experience in housekeeping is required.
* Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping or a related hotel operation is required.
* Ability to supervise, coordinate and train housekeeping staff.
* Good communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
