Job Description:

Kamcraft Cabinets Ltd. Is hiring two Full-time Carpenters to join their team in Surrey, British Columbia as soon as possible.

 

Job Duties:

•       Assemble kitchen cabinets and cabinetry components according to production specifications and quality standards.

•       Measure, cut, shape, and fabricate wood and other materials using hand and power tools.

•       Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and sketches to determine project specifications and material requirements.

•       Install hardware, fittings, and cabinet components, ensuring proper alignment, functionality, and finish.

•       Repair, restore, and replace damaged cabinet components returned for servicing or warranty work.

•       Inspect completed products to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications.

•       Select appropriate materials, hardware, adhesives, and tools for each project.

•       Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

•       Perform accurate measurements and calculations to minimize material waste and ensure precise fabrication.

•       Assist with custom cabinet modifications and adjustments based on customer requirements.

•       Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following workplace health and safety regulations.

•       Work collaboratively with production team members to meet manufacturing schedules and delivery deadlines.

•       Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, or production concerns to supervisors.

 

 

Employment requirements:

•       Completion of secondary school is required.

•       2-3 years of related experience is required
