Reedridge Ventures requires 1 Farm Equipment Operator to provide the following duties:

Job details:

Location of work: Box 4 Site 9 RR1 Ponoka, AB T4J 1R1 (Various locations)

Salary: $25.00/hour for 40 to 50 hours per week

Vacancies: 1 Vacancy

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Start date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Early morning, Evening, Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime required

On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

• Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots
• Corn farming
• Livestock combination farming
• Other grain farming

• Grain, oil and forage crop

• Rural area

Tasks:

• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Seed cutting
• Fertilize and spray crops
• Harvest crops
• Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Perform general farm duties
• Perform minor repairs to equipment
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
• Monitor equipment to detect wear and damage

Job Requirements:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent work experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
