As a Home Support Worker (NOC 44101), you will perform all or some of the following duties:

  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Administer medications as directed
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist clients with mobility and regular exercise such as walking
  • Feed or assist in feeding clients
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens as required
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Observe and report changes in the client's condition
  • Assist clients in maintaining independence and quality of life

Education Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Work Experience: Experience is an asset

Terms of Employment: Full Time / Permanent (30 to 40 hours/week), Paid Vacation

Compensation: CAD $23.00/hour

Work Setting: Employer's Home

Target Audience: Elderly

Employment Conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Flexible hours, On-Call, Weekend, Overtime available
