Education:
Cook's trade certification or equivalent credentials, training and experience are required.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience required
Languages:
Written and Spoken English is required
Duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods, and create decorative food
displays for special events
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Create new recipes
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• May plan menus
• May requisition food and kitchen supplies.
Essential Skills:
Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning
and organizing
