Description
We are looking for experienced sous chef to join our team at Winifred's English Pub. Located at 27 Bridge Street East, Thornbury, ON N0H 2P0, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.

Produce high-quality plates both in design and taste-wise.

Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.

Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.

Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.

Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance.

Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.

Assure kitchen personnel are trained in best cleanliness and sanitation practices.

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $ 20.00 to $ 30.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
