Nanny 

The Khan Family is seeking an experienced and reliable Nanny to care for two children, ages 8 and 3, in the family home. The successful candidate will be responsible for the children's daily care, safety, and development, including picking up the 8-year-old from school each day.

Job Duties

·         Supervise and care for both children throughout the workday, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

·         Pick up the 8-year-old from school each day and manage after-school routine

·         Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, including games, crafts, reading, and outings, for both children

·         Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children

·         Oversee daily routines, including meals, naps/rest periods, and homework/reading time, as instructed by the parents

·         Assist the 3-year-old with toilet training, dressing, and other age-appropriate self-care routines

·         Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children's care, such as tidying play areas, children's laundry, and washing dishes after meals

·         Keep parents informed of the children's daily activities, behaviour, and any health or developmental concerns

·         Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment in the home

Requirements

·         Secondary school diploma required

·         A minimum of 6 months of experience providing child care, ideally with school-age and younger children, is required.

·         Patient, responsible, and able to manage the needs of two children of different ages

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (40 hours/week)

Wage: $21.00/hour

Language of Work: English

Job Location: Near the intersection of Aquitaine Ave. and Edenwood Dr., Mississauga, ON.
