Description
Haru Sushi & Grill is located at 7-3305 Smith Dr., Armstrong, BC V4Y 0A2. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Japanese (Sushi) Cook. If you are interested, please submit your application by e-mail.
Position: Cook
Wage: CAD$25.00 per hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30- 40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook Japanese sushi items, including sashimi, sushi, maki, rolls, and other menu items, in cooperation with other kitchen staff;
• Maintain inventory and records of food;
• Oversee kitchen operations;
• Train kitchen staff in food preparation, handling, and sanitation procedures.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school; and
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
• Skills demonstration may be required.
• Language at work: English
