Job description:
Townline Farms Ltd. is hiring 8 full time General Farm Worker to join their team.
Job duties:
- Plant, cultivate, irrigate and harvest crops.
- Prepare soil, beds and planting areas for crop production.
- Plant seeds, bulbs and seedlings according to seasonal crop requirements.
- Prune, thin, weed and maintain crops to support healthy growth.
- Monitor crops for pests, diseases, damage and plant health issues and report concerns to the supervisor.
- Load, unload, and move farm supplies, harvested crops, containers and equipment.
- Clean and maintain fields, tools, equipment, storage areas and workspaces.
- Assist with irrigation systems and general crop maintenance as directed.
- Follow farm safety, food safety, hygiene.
- Perform other general farm duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- No education or experience is required. On the Job training will be provided.
