Sushi Sen Restaurant is now hiring the experienced cooks.
Employer: Sushi Sen Holdings, Inc. (o/a Sushi Sen)
Position: 2 Full-time Cooks (part-time is also negotiable)
Duties:
-Responsible for the production and have knowledge and competency of Maki, Nigiri Sushi, Roll and Sashimi.
-Prepare and cook food according to recipes such as various dons, noodles, appetizers, and tempura etc.
-Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
-Work with specialized equipment such as deep-fryer and grill etc.
-Make sure that the restaurant’s guidelines, standards and procedures are followed
-Clean kitchen and work area.
-May schedule and/or train kitchen helpers.
Requirement:
– Completion of secondary school
– 2+ years of cooking experience required.
– Japanese style cooking skill would be an asset.
Wage: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour (depend on working experience)
Working Condition: 35 – 40 hours a week. 10 days paid vacation per year.
