Title of Position: Child Caregiver

Job Duties: Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence. Plan, prepare and serve meals for children. Light housekeeping duties. Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer. Maintain a safe healthy environment in the home. Instruct children in personal hygiene. Tend to emotional well being of children and support their social development. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Organize and participate such as homework, games, crafts, reading and outings. Take children to and from school and to appointments. Shop for food & household items. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Salary: $16.00 hourly for 40 hours per week.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location of Work: Unionville, Ontario (1 vacancy)

Skills Requirements:

• Education: Completion of High School
• Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Languages: English

First Aid and CPR or Food Handling Certification considered an asset
