Job description:
Kuljit Gill & Pushpinder Gill is hiring 2 full time Farm Supervisor to join their team.
Job duties:
- Coordinate, assign and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers involved in blueberry farming.
- Supervise blueberry crop maintenance, growing and harvesting activities and ensure work is completed according to farm requirements.
- Develop work schedules, assign duties and establish work procedures for farm workers.
- Monitor work activities and maintain quality-control, harvesting and production records.
- Train farm workers in harvesting methods, crop handling, equipment use, work procedures and safety practices.
- Monitor crop conditions and identify and report production, quality, irrigation, pest or other crop-related concerns.
- Perform general blueberry farm duties as required and ensure workers follow established farm and workplace safety procedures.
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 Years related experience is required
- High School Diploma is required
