– Hourly Wage: C$46.00 to C$48.00 (depending on experience)
– Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
– Job Location: 5593 Kingsway Burnaby, BC V5H 2G3
– Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary
– Start Date: As soon as possible
– Work Setting: Supermarket / Meat Department
– Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail
– Supervision: 5-10 people

 

Job Requirements

– Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– Experience: 2-3 years of experience
– Personal Suitability: Organized, Team player
– Language of work: English
 

Job Duties

– Plan, organize, oversee and evaluate daily operations
– Manage staff, assign duties and determine staffing requirements
– Decide on the products and services to be sold, and set pricing and credit policies
– Source, select and purchase merchandise for resale
– Develop and implement marketing strategies
– Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
– Handle customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
