Home Child Care Provider

Description

We are looking for a reliable and caring Home Child Care Provider to provide childcare in our private residence in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

Job Duties:

• Supervise and care for the child in the employer's residence.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the child.
• Assist the child with daily routines and personal hygiene as appropriate.
• Organize and participate in age-appropriate activities, games, outings, and recreational activities.
• Take the child to and from school and appointments when required.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare.
• Wash, iron, and organize the child's clothing when required.
• Keep records of daily activities and relevant information regarding the child.
• Follow the parents' instructions regarding routines, discipline, meals, and activities.
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents' absence when related to the care of the child.

• Employment Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Previous childcare experience is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Must be dependable, patient, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada or eligible to obtain the required authorization.

  Work Setting:

  Private residence in Maple Ridge, BC.

  Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment.
