Trillium Recycling is a diversified recycling company located in Ajax Ontario, and specializing in wood pallet recycling services. For many years, Trillium has been supplying the local market with reliable products in a timely manner exceeding their client expectations.

We are currently looking for a Recycling Foreman to join our team based out of Ajax Ontario.  The Recycling Foreman supervises and coordinates the activities of workers who disassemble/assemble and recycle our wood products.

This role involves a high level of administrative support, scheduling, coordinating, and multitasking, to support management and product delivery.

The successful Recycling Foreman will participate is a variety of regular management meetings with our team in support of production.  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Supervise, coordinate and schedule activities of workers who disassemble/assemble, fabricate and inspect wood products for recycling.

·       Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments

·       Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

·       Requisition materials and supplies

·       Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies

·       Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions

·       Prepare production and other reports

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

·      Minimum 2 years of experience as an assembler or inspector in a similar industry is required;

·      Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner;

·      Technical administrative experience is an asset;

·      Ability to work independently and in a team environment;

·      Must be proficient with computers, especially Microsoft Office Suite (required);
