Position: Full-time Bricklayer
Open positions: 2
Wage and working hours: $38.00 – $39.00 per hour, 35-40 hours a week.
Working Location: Various locations in the Lower Mainland in BC.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
- Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects
- Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
- Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
- Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
- Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
- Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures
Requirement:
– Secondary school graduate
– 3+ years of bricklayer experience
