Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $36.00 per hour (32–40 hours per week)
Job Responsibilities
- Review prescriptions to ensure all information is complete and accurate.
- Prepare, package, and label medications for patients.
- Compound oral solutions, ointments, creams, and other pharmaceutical preparations.
- Maintain medication inventory and accurate prescription records.
- Process and bill third-party insurance claims.
- Assist with pharmacy scheduling and daily workflow.
- Maintain and clean pharmacy equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Follow pharmacy regulations, quality assurance standards, and safety procedures.
- Work closely with pharmacists to provide efficient and accurate pharmacy services.
Requirements
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Ontario (or eligible for registration).
- Pharmacy Technician diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
