DeVry Greenhouses (1989) Ltd. is looking to hire 1 greenhouse general labourer to do the following duties: 

Job Details: 

Location of work: On Site 

Salary: $18.25/hour for 40-55 hours per week

Terms of employment: Seasonal Full-time 

Start date: August 24, 2026

Employment Conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekends 

Tasks: 

  • Clean the crops
  • Greenhouse cleaning 
  • Plant bulbs and seeds 
  • Pot and re-pot plants 
  • Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and /or gardens 
  • Clean  work area. 

Type of Crops: 

  • Ferns
  • Perennials 
  • Bedding plants 
  • Seasonal plants 
  • Tropical plants 
  • Vegetables 

Job Requirement: 

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required. 

Experience: Experience is an asset.

Languages: English 

Work Conditions and physical capabalities: Fast-paced evnironment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, Bending crouchin, kneeling, weight handling up to 23kg (50lbs)
