Our restaurant is located in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and fully serves Korean-style cuisine. Now we are looking for experienced cooks who are willing to become our valued team members.

Employer: Coco Asian Food Parkview Corp. (o/a Coco Yum)

Position: 3 Full-time Cooks

Working Location: 381 Parkview Rd. Yorkton, SK, S3N 3A9

Wage: $17.00 ~ $20.00 per hour (to be negotiated) and 6% of the gross income for paid vacation per year.

Work Hours: 30~40 hours per week.

Start date of Employment: ASAP

Responsibilities

– Cook complete various foods according to our recipe.

– Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat and etc.)

– Requisition food and kitchen supplies

– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies and intolerances.

– Check food while cooking to stir or turn.

– Check the quality of ingredients.

– Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards.

– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

– Inspect kitchens and food services areas.

– Clean kitchen and workstation.

– Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Requirements

– Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

– A diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.

– Experience: 2+ years of commercial cooking experience.

– Knowledge of Korean cuisine would be an advantage.

– Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.

– Good communication skills.
